Carmen

Available from Amazon and in KU

Would you volunteer to save a dying race?

The population of the planet Bovaria is in danger of extinction and needs to breed with transformed humans, known as hus.

Almost every hu loses their cognition during the transformation process, but in compensation, they live a simple life centred around sexual satisfaction.

Carmen dedicated her life to helping others, but everything went wrong, and she desperately needed to forget her past.

Transformation into a hucow should have been the perfect solution for Carmen.

But things rarely turn out as expected.

Instead, Carmen's cognition is returning, she's plagued by torturous hints from her past, M'Rin –  the irresistible boss of Resbis Breeding Facility – has taken a special interest in her, there is something sinister about the bosses sister, and she has to come to grips with the fact that she's signed away all rights to her body.

Her function as a hucow is to be bred, and to produce prized milk that improves the Bovarian's fertility with hus.

Life as a hucow should have been simple, but it seems that everyone has plans for her.

Can Carmen make peace with her new life?  Can she find satisfaction in her new reality?  Or will she lose everything all over again?

Carmen is the first instalment of the Hus of Bovaria series.  It is a high heat, bright kink, sci-fi, MF, hucow erotic romance story that involves humans being transformed into cow-like alien hybrids and used for breeding purposes.

Carmen contains: dubious sexual consent, non-consensual drugging (not by the main character), body transformation, medical procedures, milking and milk drinking, breeding and pregnancy, oversized genitalia, restraints, and death of family and friends (off the page).

It can be read alone, and has a guaranteed HEA.

Don't just take my word for it, here's what others have thought...

This was a very odd read, and I mean that in the best of ways. I had never read anything quite like this so it got my attention straight away and read the entire book in 1 sitting.

I love this world and situation that the author has created and I’m very much looking forward to what’s next!

I loved the mystery part and was very pleasantly surprised by the huge plot twist.

The epilogue was amazing too so be sure not to skip that (I know some readers do skip the epilogues) !

Can’t wait for the next book in this series!

An absolutely adorable monster romance. The coziest most romantic story of a girl who signs away her cognition to become a breeding cow- but wakes up and can still remember her past life anyway. The story followers her transformation into a hucow and her caretakers' struggle with learning to communicate with someone who can't talk. There's a happy ever after, though. ♡

The premise, the plot, the character development, everything about this book was addictive.

From the description, I was intrigued by the unusual universe this author created and right from the first page I was hooked.

Hours after finishing this story in one sitting, I still could not get Carmen and M’Rin nor the Human Bovarian Hybrid Transformation Agreement out of my mind.

This is possibly one of the best novellas I have read.

The writing and story was well executed and never felt rushed, the author did an excellent job of showing rather than telling, and the connection between Carmen and M’Rin felt honest and genuine.

I loved the care and compassion H’Nue and M’Rin showed Carmen and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series! I can only hope there will be more of H’Nue and maybe F’Nor in future books.

I really liked this one. Although the hucow thing isn’t really a kink of mine, I find the stories fascinating! From the background stories to the transformations to all the other details!

The thing I loved about this book is how the hus were treated with respect. They want the hus to be cognizant and full members of the community. They have rights as citizens and protections against abuse. You don’t see that in many of these.

I liked the story a lot. The dual pov is excellent. The characters are likable and the amount of suspense in the story was just right!

I would recommend this one!

WHAT DID I JUST READ?! Seriously, WTF. My first foray into hucow (human cow) romance, and honestly? I couldn’t put it down. Wild doesn’t even begin to cover it. Sam Aaxle (an Aussie author!) took me on a bullride I didn’t know I was signing up for, and I kinda loved it.

This short novella dives into the world of Carmen, a human turned hucow, and M’Rin, her Bovarian admirer. Carmen agreed to the transformation after traumatic circumstances, seeking blissful oblivion to escape her past, but her cognition starts returning—and with it, fragments of her painful memories.

The spice? Out of this world. (Literally.) And while the concept of hucows is, um, unconventional, the depth of care from M’Rin and the absolute sweetheart H’Nue gave this story a surprising amount of heart. Also, M’Rin’s obsession with consent? Loved that for him.

Sure, the plot twist wasn’t shocking, but the journey there was entertaining as hell. The mix of high heat, sci-fi weirdness, and emotional layers made this such a unique read. If you’re looking to step way outside the norm box, this one’s for you.
